With the purpose of offering you a unique and unforgettable experience during your visit to the jungle or pampas, groups are formed with a maximum of 6 people, with the aim of increasing the possibility of sighting animals in the jungle. Additionally, during our walks our visitors will be able to learn about different forest topics: medicinal plants, timber trees, the usefulness of palm trees, animal behavior, ecological processes and interpretation of the primary forest. The walks are of low difficulty and are accessible to all segments of tourists who visit us.
During your visit to the Pampas del Yacuma, especially in the dry season, you can do piranha sport fishing, this activity is carried out in the Yacuma River itself or in the small lagoons typical of the pampas.
The anaconda is one of the largest snakes that inhabit the Bolivian Amazon. They are found mainly in the plains of Beni. Given the characteristics of the sites we visited, such as the ANMI – Madidi National Park and the Pampas del Yacuma Municipal Reserve, where more than 870 species have been recorded, with an estimated 1,200 probable species, a situation that makes them very interesting and ideal sites for bird watching. The birds that stand out the most are: Macaws, parrots, toucans, peahens, harpy eagle, Amazonian condor, woodpeckers, hoazĂn, owls, fishing birds, partridges and many other smaller species such as hummingbirds. It is worth mentioning that an hour and a half walk from our hostel is Caquiahuara, a natural nesting site for macaws, whose visit is included in our packages that we offer in the jungle of the ANMI Madidi National Park.
